So far, the film has won prizes at the Paris Independent Film Festival (Paris, France) (‘Best Short Short’); ‘Best Comedy’ at both Vegas Shorts (Las Vegas, USA) and Tokyo Indie Shorts (Tokyo, Japan) and ‘Best Film’ at the 300 Seconds Short Film Festival (Toronto, Canada). The Wavy Handed God was a Semi-Finalist at ‘Lit Laughs’ (Harrogate, UK), and received an Honorable Mention at the Buenos Aires Indie Shorts Awards (Buenos Aires, Argentina). In addition, the film has played at St Kilda Film Festival (St Kilda, Australia); Heart of Gold International Short Film Festival (Gympie, Australia); Over the Fence Film Festival (Perth, Australia); Laughing Dog Comedy Festival (Houston, USA) and East Bay Comedy Festival (Oakland, USA).
